About us
Our Communications, PR and CSR departments are responsible for external and internal communications for Lidl GB. This includes announcing key updates to our colleagues, managing the supermarket's reputation & key stakeholders and promoting our product offerings to key publications and broadcast stations.
Attention to detail is absolutely critical, when we make statements and press releases, they need to be airtight, effectively communicating our news and announcement with clarity. You’ll need to be adaptable and willing to learn, quickly understanding the different business areas and communicating their latest developments.
What we're looking for
You’ll need to be a good judge of what our audience is receptive to, paying close attention to public response to each of our business decisions. Then build a communications strategy based on insight and experience, to help us form a strong relationship with our audience and customers.
Strong communication skills are fundamental to this role, whether it’s building and maintaining working relationships across the business and the wider sector, or strong writing skills and the ability to clearly share ideas. As we expand at a rapid rate across the UK, we need a talented and passionate team to maintain an open and positive relationship with a wide variety of stakeholders.
