Graduates

Once you are offered a position on the graduate programme you will be invited to a closed LinkedIn Group with the rest of your Lidl Graduate & Placement Student cohort. Here you can network with Graduates and Placement Students across the various regions and Head Office, as well as the one you are joining. The Early Careers team will also share regular business updates and graduate alumni posts to warm you up. In the summer before you start you will also be invited to attend a Meet & Engage call with our Early Careers team who will go over what to expect at the Lidl Welcome Event, working and Lidl and any questions you may have. 

To begin with, you'll attend our two-day National Welcome Event where our entire cohort of graduates come together to hear presentations from our Board of Directors, take part in interactive games, and a networking dinner to get to know each other. 

Our bespoke graduate training will then see you gain an in-depth understanding of yourself, your colleagues, and the upcoming programme. You'll also develop and hone your management skills as part of our internal graduate leadership programme. 

Fancy taking on an exciting challenge for a good cause? The Charity Challenge sees our entire cohort of graduates across the UK participate in a one-day challenge of their choosing. Whether you're taking on Tough Mudder or the Three Peaks Challenge, the funds you raise will go to our charity partner, the NSPCC, and their life saving Childline service. 

Come the end of your programme, we'll showcase and reward all your successes and achievements at our prestigious Graduate Awards. We'll send you off from your graduate programme and into your full-time Lidl career in style.
