Flexibility is key for our Retail Graduate Management programme. The shift patterns will vary across the stores and warehouses, including some morning shifts and on occasion, some night shifts as well. For example, our store and warehouse shift patterns can vary from a morning shift (typically 5am-2pm) or the night shift (typically 2pm-11pm)

Graduate schemes at Lidl GB are 23 -month FTCs (Fixed term contract) whilst you are not guaranteed a permanent role, you will have the ability to apply for internal positions, which are typically advertised on our internal careers’ website. You will be able to consult your recruitment team on your next steps whilst you are coming to the end of the scheme.

No. You must be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis.

The work rotation will differ depending on the programme you join. The rotation will be specified in the advert however, in terms of timescales and how long you’ll be spending with each department.

For graduate programmes in Head Office you will be required to work within the set “office hours” between 8am – 6pm and you will be able to choose within reason and flexibility your start and finish times to ensure your working 40 hours a week.

Our Graduate Programmes are advertised in January with the exception of our Head Office Graduate Buying Programme which goes live in October. The start date for all graduate programmes is typically 1st September.

No. A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline by the month of September in the year in which you are applying, having graduated no earlier than 2 years of that month.
