Our Warehouse Assistant Team Managers play a key role in our 13 warehouses, supporting our Team Managers to ensure our products reach our stores without a hitch. They bring the best out of the team, delegating effectively, motivating them, and getting stuck in, ensuring deadlines are met. They bring proactive and creative approach to solving problems.
As a Warehouse Assistant Team Manager at Lidl, you’ll often be working a range of shifts, motivating a large team of Warehouse Operatives to check, pick, pack and ship products to our stores.

- Responsibility for running a shift

AM Shifts can start early to mid-morning, finishing early to mid-afternoon.
PM Shifts can start in the early to mid-afternoon (just before mid-day in some regions) finishing mid to late evening.

Ambient / Bulk
You will be picking a range of ambient goods, such as cereals, crisps, water. We provide full protective clothing to work in this area.
Chiller / Meat & Poultry
You will be picking a range of chilled goods in our chill chambers which are at a constant temperature of 0°C – 2°C. We provide full protective clothing to keep you warm whilst working in this area.
You will be picking a range of frozen goods in our freezer chambers which are at a constant temperature of -28°C. Freezer goods are picked and stored in freezer boxes; once full they are allocated to the correct lane ready for transport to store. We provide full protective clothing to keep you warm whilst working in this area. You will also take regular warm up breaks during the shift.
Fruit & Veg
You will be picking a range of fruit & vegetable goods in our F&V chambers – the two chambers range between 4°C – 14°C depending on the goods you are picking. We provide full protective clothing to work in this area.
You will receive and process cardboard, plastics and any returns from our stores (including trollies, storage equipment etc). You will also ensure these materials are stored correctly and safely, ready for collection. We provide full protective clothing to work in this area.
