Sales Operations Project Manager (Total Loss Control)

Our Sales Organisations Department is looking for a confident and methodical individual to join their Total Loss Control team. You will be a fundamental part of team and responsible for managing projects, processes and procedures that will be rolled out via the region. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate to improve inventory controls in our stores.

Please note: this is a Project Manager position but your contractual job title would be "Consultant" in line with our internal role structures.

What you'll do

  • Continuous analysis, quality assurance and optimisation of sales procedures, processes, concepts and systems and derivation of targeted measures
  • Developing project concepts and proposing solutions
  • Creating and delivering presentations, project and training documentation
  • Developing goal-oriented solutions and identifying potential for optimisation within projects
  • Planning, managing and coordinating rollout of sales projects
  • Support in the assurance of a proactive cross-departmental flow of information and exchange of knowledge between national departments, the Regional Distribution Centers and Head Office
  • Analysing and reporting store projects and trials
  • Presenting project proposals and outcomes to Senior Management
  • National and international travel may be required additionally some night shift/ out of office hours required
  • Co-ordinating projects across different departments within Lidl
  • Translating the adaptations of international specifications to country-specific circumstances

What you'll need

  • Degree in Retail/ Business or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working in a retail environment e.g. Store Manager/ Area Store Manager
  • Project Management experience is desirable but full training will be given on the job 
  • Proactive and creative and able to develop innovative solutions
  • Ability to work independently, managing conflicting priorities with ease and efficiency
  • An excellent communicator and multi-tasker with exceptional organisational abilities
  • A team player
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • German language is desirable but not essential.
