We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Enfield Regional HR team as an Employee Relations Officer.
Your people skills and existing employee relations expertise will be put to good use at Lidl. You’ll be working closely with our Employee Relations Consultant and HR Services team to give Line Managers support and advice around employee relations topics. You’ll also proof read case packs and analyse reports to spot any localised data trends.

What you'll do
- First-line advisory support to Line Managers.
- Reviewing investigation packs and assisting with the upskilling of line managers to enable managers to deliver good people management practices.
- Ensuring process accuracy and proofing letters prior to release (grievances, disciplinaries and performance improvement).
- Escalating any concerns to the Employee Relations Consultant or Head of HR.
- Trend reviews and escalation of training needs analysis.
- Ensuring the relevant processes and timelines are followed and escalating where necessary.
- Tracking and updating open cases via the Case Management Tool (CMT).
- Reviewing employee relations correspondence on behalf of the business.
- Investigation support in complex cases.
- Reviewing occupational health reports and providing recommendations for next steps for Line Managers to action.
What you'll need
- Experience in offering first-line employee relations support for Line Managers.
- Experience of analysing data trends and identifying training needs.
- Good stakeholder management and people skills.
- A strong multi-tasker with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- CIPD Level 3 desirable but not essential.
