Digital Project Manager - Full Time - Wimbledon, South West London

We are a large, fast growing retailer with a highly differentiated approach within the UK market. Based in south-west London, this is a new role within a small, but growing team, so this is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop themselves within the business. You will be instrumental in helping to deliver a new online platform with the aim of acquiring new customers and driving online sales.

Working closely with the Digital Director and the Head of Ecommerce, the Digital Project Manager will be leading multiple projects to enhance business growth and revenue.

  • Run & manage every process of projects to ensure budgets and deadlines are kept within targets
  • Deepen the business’s understanding of e-commerce and multichannel, and contribute not only to individual projects but also to the ongoing formation and success of other functional areas
  • Communicate with different stakeholders and run specific projects with them
  • Identify key KPIs, develop business cases, and measure success to ensure continuous improvement
  • Identify issues and run problem-solving strategies
  • Provide reporting to key stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities to drive revenue and save cost
  • Keep up to date with emerging industry practices
  • The role will also require occasional trips to our International Head Office in Germany and other technical partners in Europe and the UK

  • Great influencing skills; an ability to build effective working relationships quickly, even remotely
  • Effective communication skills; able to express ideas clearly, both verbally & in writing
  • A proven ability managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Prioritise effectively; ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within budget and to the best creative and technical standards
  • To be a team player with a positive outlook
  • An ability to work under their own initiative, effectively managing and controlling project resources
  • To adopt a logical approach, but also have the technical and creative capacity to look at the wider solution and project delivery requirements
  • Previous project management experience using different methodologies, but especially an understanding of Agile working practices
  • Experience of working within a trading e-commerce B2C operation preferred
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English

An advantage if you have

  • Formal project management qualifications
  • Basic understanding of web analytics
  • Experience working with an e-commerce platform is highly desirable
  • Previous experience managing teams and resolving technical issues
  • Knowledge of UX, UI and customer journeys
  • Experience within the retail sector
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence, or other project management tools
  • Spoken and written German
