Our operations team focuses on the development and implementation of our basic training programmes. Working with the relevant departments, they ensure all new employees are provided the key knowledge and skills required to successfully start their career with us. In order to ensure basic training is a success, they are supported by Regional Training Consultants and Training Mentors in every region.
When you get-to-grips with the basics of your role and life at Lidl, we will take you on a talent journey to enhance your development and support you on your career path. We do this through our Emerging Talent Programme, which offers courses and on-the-job learning opportunities to help you develop your career with us in the way that you want to.
When it comes to developing talent within Lidl, our Regional Training Managers are indispensible. They look after all training-related activities within their region. Along with providing frontline training, they promote a culture of learning and development and inspire others to do the same.
Our Training Mentors support all new and existing employees through their basic and refresher training. Through the exchange of knowledge and experience, our Training Mentors provide the necessary key skills to support employees to successfully learn their role and start their career path with Lidl.
